A wooden rice box made from Japanese hinoki, traditionally used in domestic and architectural settings for its lightness and natural resistance to moisture. Designed for keeping rice and other grains fresh.
Lightweight and naturally fragrant, it is finished with food safe wax oil. Each box carries its own markings, including knots and variations in grain.
Holds up to 5kg of uncooked rice.
